Area-Related Railroad/Museum Sites
Elkhart & Western Railroad Co. The Elkhart & Western operates a section of the CCC&StL east of downtown Elkhart.  They are a subsidiary of Pioneer Railcorp.
Garrett Underpass The pictures on this site show the step-by-step progress of the now completed underpass project.
Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society Home of Nickel Plate Berkshire #765.  Facilities are located north of Dawkins Rd. along the Fostoria District in New Haven. Open on Saturdays, as well as an annual open house in August.
Haley Tower Historical & Technical Society Operates the Wabash Valley Railroader's Museum in Terre Haute.
Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum Located on the former Erie Lackawanna right-of-way in North Judson, Indiana, this rail museum has quite a collection including their prize C&O Kanawha #2789.
Lake Central Railroad Operates excursion trains between Angola and Hamilton Indiana from the spring through the fall as well as holiday specials.
Little River Railroad The Little River Railroad operates steam excursions on the Michigan Southern out of Coldwater, MI.
Kendallville Terminal Railway Co. The Kendallville Terminal Railway is a subsidiary of Pioneer Railcorp and operates a section of the GR&I in Kendallville.
New York Central Railroad Museum The home of NYC Mohawk #3001 for many years.  Located in downtown Elkhart at CP421 on the NS Chicago Line, this museum is dedicated to the history of the NYC and successors.
R J Corman Railroad: Western Ohio Lines R J Corman operates the former Erie Lackawanna trackage between Lima and Glenmore, Ohio.  Amazingly, some sections are probably in better shape now than during EL days.

Indiana Department Of Transportation Has a section for railroads.
Indiana High Speed Rail Association Not officially a government site, but here is a site for Indiana advocates of the Midwest high-speed rail plan.
Midwest High Speed Rail Coalition A non-profit group dedicated to educating the public, businesses, and political leaders about advantages of high speed rail.
Ohio Rail Development Commission State of Ohio's railroad page.  One of the best things on this site are the large detailed rail maps of the entire state.
Hoosier Rails to Trails Council Has a listing of current and proposed rail-trails in Indiana.

Indiana-Related Erie Lackawanna Sites, Lists, and Discussions
Erie Lackawanna Mailing List ("erielack") Discussion of Erie Lackawanna, predecessor and successor railroads.  All topics covered:  prototype, model, history, etc.
Erie Lackawanna Historical Society Official website of the ELHS.
George Elwood's Erie Lackawanna Site Probably the most comprehensive EL site on the net.  Several sections have Indiana and Ohio-related information.
Morscher's Railroad Images (Erie Western excursion) If you go to the 1978 section "sorted by railroad" you'll find some shots of an Erie Western excursion train that was run for an ELHS meeting held in Huntington, IN during that year.  They ran the train from Huntington to North Judson and back and Mr. Morscher was fortunate enough to get pictures of the train that day.
Rich Tubbs' Erie Lackawanna Page Lots of cool photos including DA Tower in Decatur, IN.
The Blue Comet Bob Staple's site with photos of many fallen flags.  There is an EL West End section with some great photos at Huntington, Kingsland, and Uniondale.
