Favorite locomotives ?
Would anyone care to talk about your favorite motive power? I thought of this question as I was running my old Varney Docksider .

My all time favorite steamer: Why an NKP Berk of course. I'm also a fan of the N&W 600's and C&O 2-10-4s.
Diesel:
1) Erie Lackawanna SDP45
2) Missabe, Bessemer and EJ&E SD38-2
3) Any E unit, particularly EL E8s, and the early slant noses ATSF ones.
4) SD40-2s
5) Standard cab SD70's
6) SD70Ms and MACS with the phase 1 nose and the flared radiators.
7) SW1s
Any EMD switcher with Flexicoil trucks.
