Nickel Plate 912 switching Weaver Popcorn c.1950. Look at the lumpy track profile. I haven't seen railcars there in the past few trips to Indy.

There's a lot to see in that picture, the rider car, the CB&Q boxcar, Everywhere West, and the brakeman riding the tank car. That's not even mentioning that Lima-built ex-Cloverleaf 2-8-0 912, built in 1922, as shown on the NKP all time roster.

912 was built as Clover Leaf #212 (s/n 6244) and was one of a group of five delivered in May 1922. Engine numbers were 211-212 and 214-216, the Clover didn't believe in using the number 13. An interesting tidbit is that Lima accepted six old Rhode Island built 2-6-0s as trade for the down payment.
