Post by Conrail713 » Tue Dec 18, 2012 3:34 pm

I caught a few pictures before I ran out of daylight on a trip one hour west of Joliet, Illinois. It's was too bad I ran out of daylight, there were a lot of good shots in Joliet. Rats! The pictures are along Route 6 in Illinois.

The first four photos were taken in Ottawa, Ill of the Illinois RailNet engine house and leased locomotive.
My Mother-in-Law lives in Ottawa.
I have photographed this railroad off and on for about eight years.
West of this location is the CSX New Rock yard.
The CSX and Railnet transport sand from a local sand works.

Youtube video taken at New Rock yard.
