New Haven 140 RDC-A

I took this shot at he HOBO railroad in Lincoln, NH. (closed for the season)


Manufacturer: Budd Company.
Formation: 2 cab cars and 4 intermediate cars.
Constructed: 1956.
Number built: 1 train set.

This was know as the Roger Williams train.

Always like the RDC's but what I gather they suffered from mechanical issues from the get go.. wasn't there a newer version built SPV 2000 ? They had a couple 20 years ago up on the A&B Railroad in Adrian MI

RDCs were definitely round-house-queens, but I was referring to the partial PA nose frankensteined on one end.
