Management can't run trains. If the trains are called in turn order, as they should be, then whoever is first out and stands for the train gets it.

Wabash Central brought a string of CRDX (I think they're open top boxcars) out of storage and onto the storage track in Bluffton a couple of weeks ago. They haven't moved since. Anybody know the rest of the story?

The crdx cars were being inspected/ worked on 5/2/2016. A service truck was parked near the middle of the string of hopperboxes? :D

A Loram railgrinder spent the night in Bluffton. It was heading North toward the Fort. Be on the lookout Monday.

Heard 177 running down the NCD again this weekend. Don't know if O/D has changed.

Also an L15 was called for Sunday to come "bail out" the local after the relief crew called on Friday only made it to the ethanol plant.

Anybody see 107 rolling on the NCD? Seems it disappeared almost as quickly as it showed up.

177 went away and now it seems to be back. I haven't seen/heard 196 in a couple of months. Anyone seen it lately?

Sadly L69 cannot make it to Montpelier and back with one crew. Normally, a L08 is called to finish the work and get the locomotives back to East Wayne for the next round of L69. Today, however, it was LF7. Is that a Fort Wayne crew instead of a district pool crew?

177 is still around. I've seen it pass by early morning, several times now.

Sadly, it took three crews (at least) to get L69 back to East Wayne. On Friday, L69 only made it as far as the ethanol plant. A L08 crew came out late Friday and took it to Central States after working the Ethanol plant. Saturday they had to have an L60 crew bring it back North. Not sure if they made it all the way.

143 had a bad day Saturday as well. Detector at MP173 hit them up for 6 cars to check. Last one was 92 deep, lots of time walking.

Is there something going on down South?
Nothing through here all day except the local and a loaded ballast train heading South.

NSCORP website is showing a wash-out on the line between Sharonville OH and Muncie IN.
As of Friday evening trains were moving again.

A L64 crew came to "relieve" L69 in the ethanol plant. (I think they tied it down around noon and actually shut down the power) This is the third different "crew" to relieve L69 this month. Also of note, it wasn't PTI that brought them down from East Wayne. Two SUVs (like NS trainmasters get to drive) were there. It's not the first time this has happened, either.

Anyone else notice trainmasters taking crews to trains?

Loram rail grinders are in the cloverleaf yard. It appears to be two trains, one train consists of two cab units. The other has a singular cab unit with water cars.

Another day on the railroad. 143 stopped in Kingsland (first siding) to try and "fix" one of their two locomotives. It stopped loading, again, before it got to Bluffton. Somebody is going to earn their paycheck today.
