I thought there might be others that may find the attached interesting.Its interesting how the Railroad help form and shape a towne, Even the town Jeweler gets a part of the action by inspecting and maintaing the time pieces the Railroaders carried in their pockets.

I find that the past sometimes can be more fasinating than the present, This area is full of history and I just would like to know more about this area, It is for personal knowledge, No books, No presentations, No websites.

Garrett was a meca of sorts back in the day but so little of this seems to documented, By the way I have came across a motherlode of glass plates that contain images of the rail scene from the 40's - 70's many from Garrrett, many were from the cold months because the photographer found the steam hanging in the air interesting.....
