Virginian Heritage Unit

Post by cjberndt » Mon Feb 05, 2018 5:45 am

I went out railfanning this weekend and found NS's Virginian heritage unit in the tiny berg of Corunna, Indiana, on NYC's Air Line. It's running but has some problem, so they de-trained it there for a while. Another guy taking photos said it has been there for a couple days.

Note how the years of westerly winds have deformed the pine tree.

It was still in Corunna on Valentine's Day, now in the second week.
