Crazy signals

Postby rrradioman » Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:36 pm

Guess where these signals were and let me know how they controlled the junction.
I never did quite figure everything out.

In the early '70's it was a great place to railfan. Lawn chairs and coolers were taken with us
along with cameras and losts of film!

At first I was going to say somewhere in Europe, but the switchstand and electric lock box are definately American style. Is it a commuter storage yard in da region?

CRI&P, E-L, N&W, C&O among others used this junction
When I started going there in 1972.

Hint... It's near Chicago!
