Cab 38, GTW 75072 to Granger, IN, to Woodland, IN, to North Judson, IN, where I believe it currently resides.

I list no caboose in Wyatt, IN, nor in Wyatt, MI.

Woodland is where I saw it. I looked on Google Maps and Woodland never showed up when looking up and down 331, that's why I thought it was Wyatt. You can see it in Google Maps just south of the red roofed building here:

Cab 16 - SOU X522

Postby caboose9 » Sun Nov 21, 2010 4:17 pm

Cab 16, SOU X522 to NS 500006 to ALAB 500006 to MSO 500006 to MSO 50000? (decal for 6 was never applied or it fell off of 1 side?) to MSO 500007 (maybe they were out of 6 decals?).

The original SOU X538 to NS 500007 to ALAB 500007 to BSOR 500007 to EW 500007 is near Goshen Ave., Elkhart, IN.

I can't remember the number, but the NW 518578 was taken here in New Haven, IN and the DODX caboose shot was also at East Wayne yard in New Haven.

What is the history of #41. Also why is it at the old scout plant?

Don't know about the history, but I believe Tippman is the owner or part owner of the old Scout plant so he's storing it on his own siding.

Caboose hop basic information

Postby caboose9 » Sun Dec 12, 2010 3:37 pm

The new photos might be a bit more useful with these additions and corrections:

MSO 04945 looks like ex-ATSF (#?). Is it also ex-GTW? If it was a GTW, what was the GTW number?

C&O/B&O 90957, Auglaize Village & Farm Museum, Defiance, OH.

SCL 01176 to SBD 21176 to CSXT 21176, Lions Club. (# may be stamped into center sill)

SP 910804 (910808?) looks like a SOU caboose, does not look like a SP.

NKP 758 is 759.

GN X301 to BN 11387 to RISX 11387.

SOU X452 to NS 500002 to ALAB 500002.

BR&P 272 to B&O C2623 to LRR 2623 *or* BR&P 279 to B&O C2630 to LRR 2630. Second caboose in photo B&O C1976.

B&O 904059, not CSXT 904051.

PC 24039 to CR 24039.

Cheers, Roger

That 24039 looks amazing! Its Conrail Blue paint still looks as good as the day they repainted it :D On a related note, this caboose's brother, CR 24040, is stationed at Motor Yard near Hudson, OH and is in red paint with NS logos and the word's Cleveland District, Dearborn Division on both sides. Roger Durfee, the conductor who uses it all the time on the BF12 local job based out of Motor yard, was responsible for getting NS to paint it that way.

I list C&O 903315 as Park (Fairgrounds?), south of I-96, Eagle, MI.

The Grand Rapids, OH, steel, cupola car should be C&O 903667. The number might be visible on the center sill &/or the ACI panel.

The Pennsy cabin car displayed with the C&O "transfer" caboose is PRR 477600 to PC 19189 to CR 19189.

D&M 205 (ex-PRR?) is at the Depot, Standish, MI.

Roger
