Sounds good to me Mike, I believe we did the same thing last year as well. What about this month, is anyone up for breakfast?

IHOP's the 02/23/08 @ the IHOP's on Washington center Road. This is the same place we met last year right before the trainshow at the Bingo Hall sponsored by the Maumee Valley RR club.

That is what you get for living next to a river. Move away from the river & next to RR tracks

Since IHOP does not do RSVP's. How many people here plan on meeting for breakfast Saturday. I will get there early and have them save a few tables.

Someone on this group was wanting to know about old Fort Wayne maps and I will bring my copies from 04/21/33 if anyone wants to borrow it. Also someone here (I think our faithful leader) was wondering about old RR batteries and will be bringing a file folder of old battery info if anyone wants to look at that stuff also.

The FWA Railfan breakfast gathering will be this Saturday, February 23 at 9am. Due to the Maumee Valley Railroad Clubs annual train show taking place at Coliseum Bingo this same day we will be meeting at the IHOP on the corner of Lima and Washington Ctr Rds in northwest Ft Wayne. For more info on the show visit: http://www.fwarailfan.net/community/vie ... f=3&t=1007
This is just off I-69 at exit 111. We do this so that if you feel like attending both the breakfast and the train show you may do so without driving all over town.

This is a pretty informal gathering of railfans and sometimes railroaders as well to swap stories, talk about local railroad happenings and whatever else comes up. Of course you can't forget the good breakfast food.IHOP's special right now is shortcake pancakes. Looking at the picture makes me want to go right now.

Just to get an idea of how many people plan on coming so we can kind of warn the staff before hand, please post a reply here indicating how many people you'll be bringing (including yourself), or drop a PM to either myself or Mike M.

Hope to see everyone this Saturday at IHOP!

You are almost as bad as your brother in Van Wert (pick him up when you come this way). Both of you cannot scroll back a page and see the topic. But, atleast you posted here and not sent a PM but, I see our faithful leader already sent out a mass mailing so you all know where & when

I would like to be there but will not be able to make it this month. Maybe in March.
