What are the speeds the IN operate at? I saw a video on YouTube and they looked to be moving at a decent pace. I believe a good portion of their trackage is Class 2 and is good for 25 mph. They're working on E-W trackage east of Ashley IN, doing ties and then they will resurface it. This work conti...

Let this website pass into oblivion. The moderators don't block or erase dumbassdom, and it dominates too many discussions. I posted a note about a local railroad issue, and here are the sophomoric responses it generated: http://www.fwarailfan.net/community/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4302 Cheeseheads? Tho...

Indiana Northeastern gets a new Customer

Edd's Supply of Shipshewana IN, is in the process of building a Fertilizer Terminal just west of South Milford Grain in South Milford Indiana, Looks like they will come off the E-W line and build a spur on the south side of the track and it looks like this siding will run N-S. I believe the material...

Anyone have thoughts into the decision making process of why Ft Wayne was selected to be the main hub?
I'm thinking Fort Wayne was centralized in the network and from FW trains could go N,S & E,W relatively easily.. and then there is the Auto Artery

Were there ever any historic derailments of road railer trains? Don't know that I ever heard of any.
Over 50 of them ended up in the drink at Sandusky Bay September 2008
