Re: Happenings around Waterloo

That certainly could be. I wasn't really listening for it so I could have easily dropped a digit.

Re: Happenings around Waterloo

The detector at MP 360.5 may be in place but I haven't heard it for a week or so - only the one at MP 355.4. I was in Kendallville a couple of weeks ago and thought I heard one at MP 386. There used to be one at MP 379 so they may have realigned several of the detectors. The one at MP 370.8 sure sou...

Re: New Detector?

Re: New Detector?

That's possible, but I'm hearing this on 160.800 MHz. I listen regularly and have only been hearing this for about a week.

New Detector?

During the past week I have heard a new detector on the NS Chicago Line. It is at MP 355.4 which is East of the Butler diamond but only 5 miles from the detector at MP 360.5. Does anyone have any information on this or was I just dreaming?

No. 47 is basking in the sun in Hamilton today. It probably came back with the long train from Montpelier on Tuesday evening. A sizeable cut of cars was left east of Hamilton overnight and then resumed it's westbound journey on Wednesday.

CF&E Dispatcher

Caylorman is correct. The I&O dispatches their lines from Cincinnati. This include the ex GTW ex DT&I line through Lima. It should only be a matter of connecting the dispatch center to the existing transmitters/receivers along the CF&E.
