Wabash Line Huntington to Wabash

I had stops in Huntington and Wabash and then I saw Triple Crown train headed west down the Wabash.. The days of Triple Crown are numbered and decided to make some time and give chase.. The scenery along the Wabash Line is awesome !

186'6" is each blade not sure where tis batch is going to, They're erecting another windfarm over by Dunkirk OH but those blades have been coming in on 30 from east.. The size of these has increased substantially over the years. they use to haul 2 blades at a time there for awhile... I'm not mu...

The blades that were seen on the CF&E went to the Van Wert Terminal for offload and measure 186' 6" largest blade that I have seen yet.. Looks like they replaced rail within the Van Wert Terminal as well.

Good News ! Buckhorn Plastics has been purchased by 20/20 Plastics of Montpelier OH and is re=opening the Bluffton IN, Facility. 20/20 has grown leaps and bounds the over the last several years..

Neat to watch the side booms in action.. looked like NS dodged the bullet on this derailment. looked like that it could had been much worse. I suppose the slow speed limit minimized the damage..

Looks like about 6 well cars were totaled, 2 containers destroyed. They were emptying the 2 containers in the parking lot of Erie Haven Concrete. looked to be several sets to be setting around the car shop at East Wayne and there was semi's driving off with some of the containers today.. looks like ...
