Present, here. It just takes a few days to translate this into Buckeye-talk :D

Those would be too short for aircraft wings. About how wide were they, Mark? I see what looks like an access door on the right one.

Kingsland

When John retired, he must have left his "instructions" for Kingsland at the desk. :)

Possible Detours on New Castle District

There might be some detours on the New Castle District today and tomorrow. There was a stack train that derailed on the Sandusky District this morning north of Delaware, Ohio. NS traffic has been very quiet through Columbus today.

Good observation on the decals. I never noticed it. That RS3 and #606 did belong to SPEG at one time. I found this interesting photo on George Elwood's site, taken in front of the Ohio City depot. The caption says it was taken 6-11-86 by Kam Miller. http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/vtr/vtr606am.jpg Wha...

Indiana Hi-Rail Video

Here is some video I shot in Bluffton, Indiana nearly 14 years ago. Maybe someone knows the full story here, but I think SPEG was helping IHRC clear out a wreck - maybe near Ohio City.

KHA

Didn't know you knew your airplanes so well. :) Interesting to see all of those heavy jets at FWA. Kitty Hawk must be doing well. No lack of things to do here, that's for sure.

photos of 765 from yesterday

That looks like a Tradewinds A300 departing FWA. Deja-vu for me, as well Mike. Glad to see Kitty Hawk is still hanging in there. Nice pictures.

One Year Congrats!

I just wanted to publicly thank Greg for the great job he has done in taking over as webmaster of The Fort Wayne Railfan. It was about one year ago that I handed him the ceremonial key to this site at AC Tower in Marion, Ohio and exactly 7 years ago I put the very first version of this website out i...

Thanks for this link, Michael. It definitely has more detail than Google or any of the other's I've seen.

Derailment In Goshen

Wow. What a mess. That looks like it's near the Indiana Ave. crossing. Maybe it was 20E? Those TV trains usually cook through there.

Lack of EL Info in Indiana

For as long as I can remember there has been a huge void of information out there on the Erie Lackawanna in Indiana. Most of the books, videos, and websites on the EL are focused in the northeast US, where most of the people are. So it is not surprising that the Laketon trackage isn't well known as ...
